Can any of my fellow film-makers tell me why some of my e-mails disappear from the in box?
It appears to happen after I have printed a copy of the e-mail.

not sure why - do they only disappear when you print them?

I'm sure the flippant answer woudl be not to print them....but what happens if you pnly open and view them?

Pat - it just happens occasionally - I go back after a few days to re-read an e-mail and it has disappeared. I just felt that printing out the e-mail may have something to do with it.

I recently moved to Windows Live Email system. It has a handy feature that shows in one place all newly arrived mail from the many different email addresses. But after I have opened and read a message there it vanishes. In fact it is stored in the Inbox folder associated with whichever email address the message came to.

That would look as if the message had disappeared ... but you just have to look a little further.

Jest run your cursor over the message, click COPY then transfer the message to WordPad or whatever.
I'm on Yahoo, and my messages stay put unless I send them to the trash can.
